Nice call. I reversed all my ng shorts and turned long some gassers with higher short ratios this am. I also picked up some seismic and went long oct ng.

I'm giving this rally a lifespan slightly shorter than that of adult dragonfly, but that's long enough for the market predators to squeeze out undercapitilized shorts and for the illusion of sector strength to permit further distribution.

I was sleeping comfortably on my shorts last week when I was roused by a startling idea. What if the recent insider buying in Enron, etc.. represented some knowledge of 30million barrels coming back to spr this fall? Next day I reviewed the insider buying with my own eyes and found it reassuringly dull. However, I now think that the return of Clinton-Gore spro would relieve the osx of enough doubt to kindle or perpetuate a strong rally, even if crude prices remained steady and ng prices remained weak.

In any case, a FA case can be made for the international drillers and marine seismic, whereas no FA can be made for domestic drillers or ng producers. A technical case can be made for all of them, and is confirmed by my Chinese straw dog predictor and tortise shell readings.

Josh.
