You read my mind! We'll see how long the buying lasts when tomorrow's AGA numbers come out. Reality should set in quite quickly.

Anyone have an opinion on the HP-Compaq merger? I remember Sperry and Burroughs (bust) and Compaq-DEC (bust) so have some pretty big concerns about this working. On the other hand HWP is at a 6 year low today so I bought some.

You seem to be right on the money with your shorts, but as a short-selling survivor of the tech craze, I just never again want that feeling of being dragged along by a whale.

Any other acquisition candidates? The low prices seem to be seen as an opportunity.
