Just a comment on longer dated calls, I've been writing front month only for a while. I had bad luck several times in the bear market when the underlying stock dropped suddenly and the longer options did not drop due to an increase in implied vol. UF, did this happen to your QCOM Oct.'s? In case anyone remembers, I got called out on June CREE 25's and was sad for a while. I am getting ready to do a buy/write on Cree around 20 so I shouldn't have been too sad.
