The "micro" affiliation of individuals is to the community and its subgroups: Mitnaggedim, Sephardim, Hasidim (and the various courts within the hasidic world) each of which has its own customs in worship andreligious practice, manner of dress, political behavior, and even choice of newspaper. But the "macro" affiliation and loyalty of haredim relate exclusively to the Deity and His (Jewish) people. tom watson tosiwmee
