What the hell happened. Maybe I shouldn't have spent so much at lunch.

Got me. Right after 3 PM the bottom fell out. Another bear market rally. It was like this last year. Everyone thought people would come back from vacation and the markets would rally. Instead, they came back last year and the Naz cratered. All I did was sell.

I got your email about CAO. I have no idea which way it will go. At $8, it's probably fairly valued until they get debt restructured.

Do you think their restructuring is for real, or are they just talking restructuring til they get their debt refinancing in place?

But in a recession, DIY stocks should do well - particularly auto. People won't by buying new cars as much, and will look to save some bucks here and there.

That's true. Just announced on CNBC that the big three are expecting this to be the 3rd best year for car sales.

I am selectively adding still [dell, omc, gx]....

I am as well but concentrating in mostly biotech and retail. Trying to get back into energy but keep getting bumped out. Picking up some tech as I think they bottom....VTSS, TQNT, PXLW, DIGL, ACLS and BRCD, but trying to limit to only 30% of my portfolio. There's still no money to be made in tech.
