"Prosperity" is a relative criterion: no country/nation is "prosperous" in a vacuum. Hence we must gauge the United States' present and future prosperity against competing countries's. Your statement implies that you expect some other country (China? Europe? Russia?... just kidding!<g>) to take the wind out of the US's sails. I find such a premise highly far-fetched. As for "Do you think any war or state of war among nations is "racial" in nature?", I'd say that most wars are "irrational" in nature... so, as far as racism itself is an irrational behavior, it's likely legitimate to factor it in.
