Michael Lewis, who turns 30 on Nov. 14 and never played high school or college football, is now on the New Orleans Saints. He's the fastest player on the team, timed at 4.2 on turf. Lewis worked as a beer delivery man while working his way to the NFL.

In exhibition games, Lewis had seven punt returns for 169 yards, a 24.1-yard average, and returned one against Denver for a 74-yard touchdown. He also had six kickoff returns for 171 yards.

Lewis started playing football for the semipro Kenner Knights, then earned a spot on the Bayou Beast, where he scored 23 touchdowns in 24 games. Lewis went on to the New Jersey Red Dogs of the Arena League and then went to the NFL Europe.

Well.....I'm open to modifying the way its done. I was just tossing out a possible way of doing it to have a level playing field. Hell....I've posted here for all of 3 days so I'm certainly not trying to move in and be the thread dictator. I just love football and talkin trash. But in reality guy - I'm all bark and no bite

Tom

Being a creature of habit I too prefer to pick two games, two games where I feel I understand the teams involved better than those who are responsible for the betting line.

My suggestion is that we rotate the responsibility for keeping track of each other’s picks and results during the season. Everyone making selections should try to take a turn. I'm going to be really busy this fall with two systems that have been in development for a year going into QC this month but I'm willing to take the first weekend and I promise to do another. If I can work in a third one then I'll do that also. I wish I could do it for the whole season as you so graciously did last year. Things are busy enough that I had to turn down an opening day seat at the Raven’s game.

Anyone out there willing to take week two? I’ll do week three as well as week one.

Tom
