MSFT is not strong, especially with a weak Nasdaq. I am not interested in catching 2 to 3 point moves on it. I want to see it hit a bottom and bounce 30% or so. If the Nasdaq continues to decline, I can see a break below 50 but I would buy it there even if it goes lower.

If however, it does not drop much from current levels, my plan would be to buy it sometime mid to late October anyways.

Of course, plans can change very quickly if one is a trader; depends upon near term market performance.
I have not held any significant position in it since it was at 70. Since then, I have only been looking for an entry point for my long trade in it...still waiting...

BTW--when the Nasdaq bottoms, I still think MSFT is going to be one of the leaders. I don't agree with your assessments of its fundamentals. Agree with you on the short term downside. Legal troubles is still an uncertainty; hitting warning season also not good for the market and MSFT would still get hit by warnings from other techs.
Warning from MSFT----Not a chance!(imho)
