JJ is out and about in Africa, and has this to say about that....And wonder if he's EVER given a thought to exactly how anyone is going to PROVE their lineage back at least to the 1600's, ON ALL LINES!!!!! Mother and Father's lines, on ALL sides, for all those generations back..... After all, we are all a product of ALL our ancestors....

Also wonder if he is prepared to deal with the Africans who actually sold other Africans into slavery in the first place???

Wonder what he will say when people start to ask "What major accomplishments in the last 2000 years has Africa and its' people contributed to the world being a better place???" How did it happen that the United States started only a few hundred years ago, and its people (ALL races, creeds, colors) have accomplished so very much for so many in the world, while Africa has had civilizations for 4000+ years, and has so very little to show for it.....

When was the last time anyone remembers Africa as a whole helping ANY other country in the world for any length of time???? The USA has, and continues to help.

Anyone wonder who is paying JJ's way to Africa now??? I sure do!!

What a totally petty, officious and self serving man....

Here's the article....
Jesse Jackson Says He'll Make Reparations a Priority

Sep 5 7:49am ET

Mike Hutchings/Reuters
DURBAN, South Africa (Reuters) - U.S. civil rights leader Jesse Jackson said on Wednesday he would make reparations for the past enslavement of African-Americans a priority when he returns to the United States from a world racism conference.

"It is the issue of repair for damage done," Jackson told Reuters on the sidelines of a U.N. conference on racism in the South African port city of Durban.

"We (African-Americans) have fewer services and less education. We are disproportionately jailed and killed by the state. We have shorter life spans. We have less access to capital," Jackson said.

He added that all of these social and economic problems faced by African-American community were rooted in centuries of slavery that ended with the North's victory over the South in the Civil War in 1865.

Asked if he would make reparations for slavery a political priority when he returns to the United States, Jackson said: "Yes, of course...we must make crooked ways straight."

Jackson also slammed the low-level U.S. delegation for pulling out of the conference on Monday in protest at wording branding Israel a racist state, saying it was a political smokescreen to evade the slavery issue.

"We used the Middle East controversy as an excuse (to avoid slavery)," he said.

"The great issues of our time were pushed off the agenda because of the wording on the Middle East," he said, referring to other topics such as debt relief for the developing world and AIDS.
