I remembered seeing in the news, about a month ago, he was in the Harley Davidson plant and saying to one of the employees, "the tax refund is your money". Yeah, it is our money, but the government will take it back later, plus interest.

Jane, I haven't heard the latest news. There's no way he can get another tax cut. The CBO now says this year's surplus is about half of earlier projection and the government will have to tap into social security trust funds to pay for the "deficit". Bush is not going to get support from his own party with mid term election not far away, let alone to make it through the Senate.

Bush's job performance is nothing to write home about (although he's been mostly home, 6 months on the job, 1 month vacation). No wonder his approval rating has nose-dived ever since he took office.
