The demographics of Gore and Bush voters is well established. The fact that Bush voters attend church more than Gore voters has been verified. Actually, I doubt you will question this claim. * * *

The only truly religious candidate last year was Lieberman. The rest of them only go to church for photo ops, including Bush. Whenever he talks about his "faith" it makes me want to laugh or throw up. Before Leiberman the last real religious candidate was Jimmy Carter. So no Republican ccnadidates at all have been truly religious. The party just has an alliance with the Southern Baptists and other conservative white Christians who deliver those votes. Because they hate womens, gay and minority rights, all of which the Dems defend. However, almost all minority churches are predominately Democratic.
