I understand they are down to a terrorized fragment, maybe 20,000 souls. The Iranians threaten to arrest any relatives of Jews who try to depart, and (as you know) just had show trials to demonstrate they mean business that would have made Uncle Joe Stalin hang his head in shame. Leaving Iran is no simple business, just as leaving Germany in 1938 and on, was no simple business.
