I have more evidence than you can imagine. I work with the Paras organization as a volunteer consultant & know perhaps 50 people recently from Iran (last 5 years), or with relatives trapped there. They are kept like zoo animals, on display, watched and effectively caged (but fed & showcased for the world in their "native" habitat). Disappearances and beatings are more & more common, as are short and longer term jailings. Almost everyone wants out very badly, but emigration is a crime. Rabbis are forced to make speeches denouncing Israel from Bimahs. There are a handful (but very few) who are "happy" there, meaning they are not religious or of Zionist bent & are making a good living. If a Jew says or does the wrong thing, anything might happen.
