Oil futures decline before API

NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- Crude oil futures prices slipped in New York trading Tuesday as investors digested OPEC's widely expected production cut and looked forward to the release of the American Petroleum Institute's inventory figures Wednesday.

Pork prices gain

February pork bellies added 3 cents to 84.60 cents a pound, extending their gains from Friday. October lean hogs climbed 1.375 cent to 59.63 cents a pound.

Food/fiber/grains

December coffee fell 3.3 cents to 51.05 cents a pound. October sugar slipped 0.10 cent to 7.81 cents a pound. December cocoa eased $39 to $910 per metric ton. December cotton rose 3.2 percent to 40.22 cents a pound. November frozen orange juice rose 1.3 cents to 80.20 cents a pound. December corn fell 0.4 percent to 231 cents a bushel. November soybeans slipped 1.6 cents to 484 cents a bushel. December wheat fell 0.5 percent to 287 cents a bushel.

The CRB/Bridge Index, a broad-based measure of commodity futures markets, fell 0.5 percent to 198.71.
