It depends on what kind of rebound.

Although we may draw parallels to 1972, this downturn very different than what happened then. Inflation was seeded in that downturn.

We don't have inflation as a problem worldwide today. That's a huge factor here and many people don't seem to realize that.

So although I see some great simularities to 1972 in terms of % decline, the fundamentals are quite a bit different and to me at least are much better than then.
