Creating PDF files on WINNT

None of this is tested or confirmed but it may lead you to the solution to your problem.

Best I can figure you may not be using an nt compatible driver. Here's one from adobe. Find the English NT version.

adobe.com

To install: (this is from another site..http://epubs.osa.org/opticsexpress/help/hlpinstps.htm#GenWinNT )

I am assuming the Apple driver or the adobe driver will work virtually)

Creating a PostScript File: Windows NT 4

"Download the file Apple230.ppd (http://epubs.osa.org/opticsexpress/help/apple230.ppd) and save it in the WIN NT directory on your system's hard drive.
Start Button/Settings/Control Panel/
Printers (double click)
Add Printer (double Click)
The next screen should be a small box called "Add Printer Wizard" and should show 2 radio buttons: My Computer and Network printer server. If "my computer" option is greyed out, you need network access to install a new postscript printer driver. If so, please call your IS department. Otherwise, click on "my computer" an the Next button.
From the Available Ports list, scroll to the bottom to choose "file: local port" and click Next
From the Manufacturers list, select Apple; from the printer list select "Apple LaserWriter v23.0" and click next.
The next window should show "Apple LaserWriter v23.0" and No as the selected options; if so, click next.
Choose "Not Shared" from the next window & click next.
The wizard will then ask you to insert a CD-ROM... click OK.
From the next window, select "browse" from the lower right corner and find the apple230.ppd file you saved to your hard drive in step 1; click OK; then click done
Again, the system will ask you for a disk; again, browse until you find the "pscript.dll" file in: WINNT\System32\spool\drivers\w32x86; if it's not there, do a file-find from your start button for that file and then browse to it. Note: if neither of these things work, contact your systems administrator. "
