>>Now, they can't even count on Social Security because Bush squandered the surplus with his tax cut. <<

I hadn't seen where the government was ceasing social security payment, please supply the url. Or is it that you subscribe to the fear mongering of your party and when any analysis is done we find this to be untrue.

>> I feel sorry about all those boomers whose retirement got wiped out by the Bush economy.<<
You're near retirement, Phil, is your retirement wiped out? Your last 40 years of investments?
My, IRA is up about 5 fold since 1997. My company pension is up substantially as well. I am down from early 2000, but I haven't been wiped out and I'm a boomer. Quit spreading lies, you should know better.

Jim

Gosh such angst. Where were you when we needed you ? When the Democrats pirated $326,000,000,000.00 from Social Security. And there was no surplus.

Where were you Ken ?

Huh ?

And now you want to worry that 9 billion might get spent from a surplus?

If you are so worried, you should write to Dashole and tell him to stop spending.

What a hypocrite.

kenny all the post about what's going on all seem to converge on what impact the government has on the economy. Well I think all agree the the biggest impact the government can have on the economy is because of the money spent or not and collected and the costs of regulations by uncle sam.
as mr. bill left office he put inplace thousands of pages of new regulations. Do you deny that fact????

FACT, currently the US government is functioning on the last budget of mr. bill the former first punch them in the face consensual sex president. President Bushes First budget has yet to become law.

I'd say the facts say the economy was mr. bill's last blew it job if the government spending and regulation is the cause of the current economy.
