Your only choices ae to accept it or change it. The Legislatures are supposed to provide the means, by passing laws, to permit or require what they are persuaded is necessary to carry out the mandates of the Constitution, and the Judiciary is supposed to be there to decide if those laws comply with the constraints of the Constitution. Humans are not perfect and good intentions sometimes go awry. That's what freedom of the Press, Speech, etc are the tools we have to insure that.
