The comment from a Breshnew-era high-level Marxist crosses my mind:"Mi brali Marxa, no nichevo panimali" - we sure read Marx but did not understand a word. This applies to the western side as well as regards the socialist ideas. So - about the red against the blue - it sure is 50-50 (give or take a thou) by population. But you got the blue meanies pretty much cornered in sqmile-wise. Except ... you not exactly (gasp) red-color, CB? Some Cajun/fleur-de-lys blue must still be flowing through your veins... dj
