This applies to the western side as well as regards the socialist ideas.

So - about the red against the blue - it sure is 50-50 (give or take a thou) by population. But you got the blue meanies pretty much cornered in sqmile-wise. Except ... you not exactly (gasp) red-color, CB? Some Cajun/fleur-de-lys blue must still be flowing through your veins...
