Yup, that's true. But, Ralph Friedgen's Georgia Tech offense shredded the FSU defense in each of the past three years. In one of the games, Tech rolled up 500 yards of offense. Maryland will be fun to watch, no doubt. I also have a hunch (but I'm not sure), that Friedgen is a good disciplinarian and will make a good head coach.

To All, The power went off again this afternoon at work. This time Houston Lighting and Power, now called unReliant Energy, took the blame and admitted they did something mysterious that they won't reveal. It was bad enough that the computers were down and the lights were out, except for minimal backup generator lighting, but the phones were also dead. Since they kept one elevator running, I bugged out early. If I can't research stocks, and can't play on the Net, and can't call anyone on the phone, and the women in the office won't let me do what I'd most like to do, then I'm outta there. <g>

I'm sorry for making fun of all my friends and relatives in California for their rolling blackouts. And I'm ticked at those folks at Enron who sold all our good Texas energy to other folks. Hey, we may need it soon. <g>
