I have mentioned over and over the possibility that the government might act unjustly or even be general oppressive. I do not, in general, think the danger of oppression is completely ignored, although various people are scared of various things. Tiger Paw,for example, is terrified of the Religious Right, and American Spirit is on a big rant about the oil companies taking over the White House to rob us blind. I think both the Left and the Right, though, have gotten too hostile to important institutions, and that we need to take a more balanced view.........
