I'll bet the HWP board is ready to boot Carly out right now, kill this deal and start doing damage control. HWP is an excellent company with a proud tradition. They don't need this kind of ridicule. And the stock price is being flushed down the toilet, unfairly, I might add. Nothing will kill a deal faster than rejection by investors. No company is big enough to ignore that pressure. And if GE-Honeywell was killed (a popular deal) the Euros will trash this one too. They don't like dominant US corporations.
