Until Ciena can revise their dream of ever increasing sales the stock is overpriced. It looks like a short-term oversold trading buy now. Beyond that their vision for the future has to show some improvement - or else their (hype) story falls apart.

chojiro,PE 135 is based on the last year earnings. Actual PE (not projected), even if the fourth quarter gives you zero earnings, is below 30 now. If CIENA meets its target then in three months PE based on current stock price will be below 20. As CIENA employee I can not participate much in your discussion, but the actual numbers to calculate PE are all on the public domain
