VIX as an indicator.

Note that the VIX was in the mid-to-high 30's in mid-March:

The Dow Industrials reached a low March 22:

The S+P 500 reached a low about the same time:

It was several weeks after the VIX got above 35 until the April 4 low in the NASDAQ:

It appears that we have another week or so until the VIX is at or above the 35 level.
