Somebody wake me when SPX=985. Seriously, I don't know if we will get there and if we do how fast, but take a look at the weekly SPX. The next obvious stopping points are 1070, then 990 - which also seems to coinside with a monthly support line from bottom '87, 90, and 94. One thing that I absolutly positively have learned is to never say "can't happen". We could see SPX 500. I don't think so, but I've seen a lot of things recently that I would have thought very improbable two years ago. And if you're nightmares aren't bad enough, the market is now behaving like bessie has been when it gets support or rallies - I do hope I'm wrong about that and what it implies.
