James, I nailed you a little because you were assuming something without fact. As for the "Hubbert's Peak" ( yawn... ) we've been running out of oil since the automobile was invented.

I'm sure we can sit here and collectively bore one another on the virtues of the "Hubbert supply curve" ( yawn... ) or we can take an intermediate view of the market and play the psychological factor of fear and greed. "Extraordinary Popular Delusions & the Madness of Crowds," written in 1841 by Charles Mackay illustrates this perfectly.

The patch is cyclical, you can profit on the way up by going long, and profit on the way down by going short. IMHO, you are both 2 years too late and 10 years too early to be starting a new group focused on the patch, but you can visit the Boom Boom Room @:
