<<Any reason at this point to buy MRVC rather than other beaten down stocks from the same sector?>>
don't construe this as a solicitation to buy, but here are some answers:
-.66 x sales
-almost $3.00 in cash
-increased revenue and earnings guidance for this Q, next Q, and next year
-a valuation of all of its divisions, less LMNE, worth about nil....
-divisions that are just now beginning to have products at the beginning of a sales cycle (yes, i do realize some companies have to actually buy the boxes)....
-a short position in LMNE that lends a great deal of elasticity, as well as a MRVC short position that is likely now more than 10% of float.
-a market that values the entire sector like it's going to go "poof", into thin air.
-and on, and on....
not saying it's going to turn overnight, and there are certainly no guarantees it will EVER turn. but the risk/reward is extremely enticing at this point.

my reasons are that i am more confident in mrv than let's say corvis...for a recovery...from these prices i think i can make 3x my money by jan-feb-march...

i would love to hear the thread chime in with some of their favorite stocks...not the biggies...but if people have some cheapies that they really love...
