The teenage daytraders have come out to play again. Your gloating through the use of multiple accounts, hindsight, and poor mathematics does not change the fact that in reality all of you probably have underperformed the market. Spare me your claims to the contrary. I have worked in the industry and have credentials that would put you to shame, so I am well aware that 99% of daytraders lose in the long run. You waste everyone's time by posting your latest impulse trades and hype here. Go to a casino - you will do just as well. You guys badmouthed GOTO when it was at 13...it has run up to 26+ and back down to 13. I'm sure you claim to have played the moves perfectly, but I know as well as you that you are in the red because of all the transactional costs involved with your attempts to market-time. Brk, of course I admit that you were correct in saying that FWHT would dip back below 2, but you are jumping the gun by attributing this to technical reasons. In the short run, the market is a voting machine. In the long run, it is a weighing machine. For the kids who are unlikely to grasp this concept, it means that those of us who buy and hold wise investments will always wind up ahead in the long run. GOTO and FWHT, regardless of what anyone says (including analysts), are now profitable. I know the industry and am confident that this profitability will continue to accelerate. The markets are free to fight this fact in the short run, but down the road all that will matter is that the valuations will force these stocks to trade higher. I have not swayed from my opinion that GOTO and FWHT will be trading well above their current levels within the next year. The recent drops (partly due to high betas tied to a faltering market) just mean this is a time to buy more. I am back to even on my investment and I have taken this opportunity to leverage up even higher. I know their will be an onslaught of childish, illogical insults now...but do me a favor...hold off on it until next year and lets see how wrong I really am. Lying about your flawless timing fools no one anyway, so why dont you just state your prediction now and see how it fares: Donny, brk, mogul, etc: PLEASE STATE WHERE YOU THINK FWHT AND GOTO WILL BE TRADING BY DEC 01 and JUN 02. My current guesses are 3.5 and 23 for dec and 11 and 32 for jun, respectively.
