If you can't make yourself stronger, do whatever you can to disadvantage your rivals' reputations and their capitalizations. Not a bad strategy.


It likely works in the stock market but on in retailing itself. That has clearly nothing to do with the issue.

In the mean time, he is not doing those of us holding tech stocks much good.

Since when Chambers knows anything about the stock market? Last summer he was predicting his company would be the first to hit 1 trillion dollars market cap!!!

Since CSCO finally rolled out their 192 router, all it means is a big price war between JNPR and CSCO. Doesn't help either one, as the drop in CSCo shares today proves.

Nobody listens to Chambers anymore. He's driving blind and the market knows it.
