Brian, Thanks very much for posting that article. One sentence stands out as a bit of an understatement:

"Yes, analysts have had a poor track record at predicting fiber-optic markets in recent years."

I still recall a smooth-talking "special guest" on the WSW show last September who was pounding the table on the fiber optic stocks right at the top.

The big question is what is the risk/reward at these levels, now that we are down about 90% or more. There is a lot of money to be made if one can determine through research or whatever that the bullish argument is valid here on some of these stocks. This huge disconnect on the fiber optic stocks is on my mind almost all the time now. My gut feeling is the argument in the article is correct, but I wish I could understand all this much better.
