I have been to both places, true rednecks are in Arkansas.

Arkansas,, the only place I know of that closes business on the opening day of turkey season.

That is just goofy. There are a couple of major metropolises (Dallas/Ft. Worth and Houston), a few other respectable cities (Austin, San Antonio, El Paso), and some major universities, like the University of Texas, Rice, and Southern Methodist........
