"90 minutes to walk your little one to school? Ouch!! Or is it 45 minutes each way? Wait a second now...sounds like those old stories my Grandpa used to tell me where he had to walk 5 miles to school uphill each way... <ggg>"

....sounds like your grandfather had it easy compared to mine. He also had to walk 5 miles to school uphill each day (maybe they went to the same school), but since his parents could not afford gloves during the winter, his mother gave him a warm hard-boiled egg for each hand--that ended up being his lunch..... (ggg)

Hi Mur,

Things are great!

I see I've turned this into the reminiscing thread. Good thing it is a/h LOL!

Nah, it's only a 20+ minute walk each way uphill from our house, but since I have to go to and fro twice a day, it's approximately 90 minutes total daily. I've resigned myself to getting one of those super-durable strollers soon because both children insist on riding while I navigate and, fitness nut that I am, I am trying to convince myself that it is good for my physique LOL!

Ok, quiz later to see who can figure out which part of the trek I'm pushing two children and when I'm only pushing one:)

Cheers,

Sue:)
