MM we're in a nasty and drastic bear market, one of the worst ever. And while economists as a group have never predicted a recession, the markets always do. Things are very bleak. Personal bankruptcy filings are going through the roof, as are corp Chpt 11's. Exports are falling off a cliff. You should look at some of the real raw data that are available. Things are not looking good at all. Some of these bleak trends just started showing up in the last couple of mos. At the co I work at, you better be ready to write an essay to justify any air travel or hotel stays. And if you need to replace your laptop, there are hundreds in the closet over there to choose from, from all the laid off workers. No need to call Dell or Compaq to order new. Anyone who thinks the economy is just taking a brief dip is not living in the real world. Victor
