This is untrue. There are partial new testament manuscripts that date to the first century AD, and partial old testament documents that date to 150BC (The near complete book of Isaiah found with the Dead Sea Scrolls). That Jesus was a real historical figure is irrefutable, and is even supported by first century Jewish historian Josephus,as well as other non-Christian sources. The disagreement, as of lately, centers on the state of mind of Him, and His followers, and the reliability of the eye-witness accounts of his life presented in the four gospels. I strongly disagree with the "Jesus Seminar" but at least they, being the leading body skeptics, do at least acknowledge the existence of obvious historical facts.
