<Or perhaps they are so deluded as to keep asserting that the mass of a satellite doesn't affect its fuel consumption because Kepler's Third Law says that the mass of a satellite doesn't matter.>

Oh no. I thought you'd finally got it. Now you are doing your old trick of misquoting, then showing why the misquote is wrong. Good legal trick. I explained why the mass matters for fuel consumption but why your idea of why it increased fuel consumption was wrong.

Of course the mass of a satellite affects its fuel consumption. Why on earth would you think I thought it didn't? I explained why it does to you.

PS: The point was why legal jargon gets special contempt... you, once again, showed why that is.

<Engineers deal with the real world which will come out the same whether they vote or not. Lawyers deal with human beings>

Gefaw! Lawyers deal with mechanistic shuffling of written and spoken words.... on ongoing example of which is your spinning with Maurice. Luckily thought transcends words... as does the "next" button on my computer.

Hi CB, <<Engineers deal with the real world ... With people like that, engineers can do nothing. Not that lawyers can do much, but at any rate, that's why lawyers handle cases where the outcome is far from certain>>

This engineer is not giving up on Maurice yet, but the lawyer can certainly help out in the conversion process. The outcome is in fact for certain: Maurice will humbly bow before the great Aztec idol, serve up his CDMA gadget with both hands, in supplicant thanks for redemption, and for safe passage through the Great Storm after having half-listened to the good advice of folks on this thread.
