We need to once in a while stop being quite so canadian, so unfailingly polite and diplomatic, so accepting of whatever bullshit their government hands out ... time to speak up, get in their faces, mix it up a little, find out if any of them know what their 'Commerce' department is up to ... geez i hope they monitor better the people pulling the strings for those aircraft carriers

Well nobody even tried to answer my very on-topic question - #reply-16301745 ... this is the 'coming financial collapse' thread, is it not ... do waves of protectionism and the responses to them presage impending contraction of trade? ... i propose that they stand every chance of so doing

Dear KastelCo:

It's all one single great "glass bead game" we're playing here (read the book by Herman Hesse).

BTW the smug vs conceited - I got it expressis verbis from CB months ago, so it's above the table -. As long as we all have a good laugh and nobody is hurt on the way (and my puts are poot-pooting along fine) I enjoy this airport lounge.

BTW a literal question - E.A. Proulx - she IS Canadian, right?
