Kodiak, Re: <<Fast Eddy--you say you don't see a catalyst to take these stocks (Naz) any lower? Lower earnings, slowing economy, slack demand for PCs, no killer apps, telecom implosion, investor scarring, tax selling, tax selling, tax selling, mortgage default rates, failure of successive rate cuts to encourage businesses to increase capex.>>

Kodiak, my problem is that I don't see one that isn't pretty much a known suspect on the 10 most wanted list already.

Lower earnings
slowing economy
slack demand for PCs
no killer apps
telecom implosion
investor scarring
tax selling x3

I grant you that these two could start a new crime wave:

mortgage default rates
failure of successive rate cuts to encourage businesses to increase capex

I'm not saying that these can't drive the market lower. I am saying that I think the additional downside from these is much less than the potential upside in a hope induced recovery fueled by improving fundamentals in the face of rate cuts, declining inventories and lower energy prices.
