Late add (more on Lehman with news link):

Meanwhile, Lehman Brothers told clients it expects earnings-per-share to be revised lower for selected chip equipment companies as capital spending budgets continue to be trimmed. Analyst Edward White sees the likelihood of multiple pre-announcements in the coming weeks and sees this limiting the near-term upside in shares. Among the companies Lehman said will find it hard to meeting earnings expectations: Lam Research (LRCX: news, chart, profile), Teradyne (TER: news, chart, profile), Axcelis Technologies(ACLS: news, chart, profile), PRI Automation (PRIA: news, chart, profile) and Varian Semi (VSEA: news, chart, profile).
