Why would you have been a shorter of ORCL above 30?

The problem with vague points is just that. Most of us have probably bought a tech stock on a pull back. We had ample chance to do it the last couple years. My question is, why? P/E's were extreme for a long time. then PEG's became the methode purchasoise. Or was it discounted future cash flow? Or was it relative valuation to the sector? Or was it multiples of sales? Book Value maybe? Maybe vague feeling is as good as any.

In Ed's message none of his fundamental issues mentioned valuation as I recall.
