Hi Wayne,

Like I said, I'm no attorney, but I think the key words in that blurb are "indirect" and "resellers." Those practices may or may not in fact be legit, but either way I personally wouldn't touch 'em with a ten foot pole if I knew how.

LP.

MacroChem Impotence Gel Ingredients Lose Potency; Shares Drop

Lexington, Massachusetts, Sept. 6 (Bloomberg) -- MacroChem
Corp. said a study of its experimental Topligan impotence gel,
which is rubbed on the penis to produce an erection, showed that
the drug sometimes lost its potency, sending shares down as much
as 41 percent.
Shares of Lexington, Massachusetts-based MacroChem fell as
low as $3.61 in trading before U.S. markets opened. The shares
closed at $6.15 yesterday.
MacroChem said a significant number of samples of returned,
unused patient doses showed that the potency of the ingredients in
Topligan were ``considerably below'' the intended dose. The
company said the drop in potency may have been caused by
interactions with drug's dispenser.
Topligan is a topical gel containing 1 percent alprostadil, a
synthetic version of a hormone found in human semen.
