I prefer to be called a Progressive. You can call me names that I don't like but this line and it's conservative members usually resort to name calling and abusiveness, just like the Party uses in politics, mud slinging is the mantra. Thus as a Progressive I am searching to makes things better. A better world is a more peaceful world and a more sharing world and a kinder world and a world where more and more percentage of the people are improving their status. To achieve this requires some amount social programs. Like public schools which singles and childless couples subsidize at great expense. As for me I am self employed and self reliant and the am happy to share some of my earnings with the poor, but it irritates me that the welfare recipients of educated middle class and the rich and corporate which I send my tax dollars to as I subsidize them then listen to them complain about some poor slob on welfare makes me laugh. You are likely one of my welfare recipients.
