AD,
What if everyone is expecting capitulation and it just doesnt happen. When naz hit the 1650 point in march, I said on this thread I believe that i would hold all the way to zero rather than sell at the bottom or be scared into selling. I still say that. Those who capitulated may have done so already so maybe the april bottom will hold. Pessimism is thick but remaining tech investors may prove to be very stubborn. mike

HAYS today bullish on tech. Nasdaq may briefly make new lows although he strongly doubts it. Thrust is old economy picking up(NAPM) and those are the guys who will buy tech going forward. Also Transport Index firming and tech and transport moving up signal a reversal.

MIke adds retail sales in august are looking good. Rebates seem to be adding to spending. Home refinancing continues strong. More money freed up. How long will folks accept 2-3% money market returns? Heard this morning that citibank and chase atm failures blamed on very old platforms.
The sky is not falling. What will intel say at 5:30? any guesses?
