Thank you technology, the only growth/productivity enhancer our nation has. I don't share Eric's optimism about the US future. Our population has a lot of uneducated, lazy individuals always waiting for a handout, including many immigrants, not all by any means. Without tech growth, the 3-5 year recession you talk about could very well happen.imo.knc

Nope, I don't believe those companies are going to rehire, because they were all fat to begin with, including Cisco. This recover will be a long drawn out thing with many head fakes. But the bottom is almost here and the markets will start to see a rebound after October. I bet we can make a few bucks between Oct and Jan-Feb. Then I bet if you like to short, you can make a few more between Feb and April. After April, the economic and stock market recovery will be pretty evident, though. That's my feeling and JMHO.
