Dear Derek: Yep, you are right, latest example in my mind is the FACT that the Dems PUSHED to INCREASE this years tax cut (rebate) over what Bush had in mind (which by the way was allright with me) YET now they blame the shortfall on BUSH'S TAX CUT. TRUTH IS the revenue shortfall is due to this recession we are entering and THAT should be the problem addressed by ALL. The only solution that has worked in the past in cases like this has been to drastically cut taxes (read capital gains) and increase Govt Spending even if it does result in an operating deficit, YET, no one has the guts to admit this as the other side will use it against them as if its something wrong and a promise broken. We elect these ASSHOLES and I mean JUST THAT to run this country and IMHO they cant even run their own personal lives (READ CONDIT). Honest to God, I am about to look forward to a damn revolution, one sort of like the French had when the cry was OFF WITH THEIR HEADS. JDN
