t4texas, I've been wondering if the gold miners might be getting pulled down by the general market downdraft. If most of the current holders are strong hands, that would account for the low volume, BWDIK? The 50 dma looks strong so far.

like he said Tex., it is overall selling pressure which is driving down larger miners which also part of SPY. Smaller members are flat to up.
