Carranza, simple as saving their loot as much as possible now, as the current rumour is they'll dump all QCDMA-based assets (Verizon?).

Also note that 64kbps was the likely kick off rate anyway and as phones and services become available they steadily increase the throughput....same as the QCDMA-based services in Korea which also started at a slower rate (did it not?).
