I agree that the GaAs/InP on Si will be good for all device makers which includes Emkr. It will in the longer term force substrate makers into niche or higher-end markets. As far as I can tell, it will not affect GaN nor SiC. I also don't think that there's any significant barrier to all oven makers in providing process capable reactors.
