Watching the news as close i have been for the past two days indicates to me that the foreign markets are having a worse time of it as it becomes clearer that there economies are headed south. In the end money flows back to the stable US markets will happen. Yes they wont go to nasdaq but they will go to bonds pushing down rates. Stocks ultimately will get some of this cash. The US markets are the gold standard in times of uncertainty and if nothing else, we certainly will lead the world out of recession. Money has to find a home and low interest rates will only be good for so long. I read an article earlier today that said savvy bond traders were expecting a recovery and felt equities not bonds were the place to be. mike
