doesnt look like STF was all that excited about appeasing the exchange.Stampede/Bearcat issue Web advisory re 2-34 well

Stampede Oils Inc STF
Shares issued 63,286,372 Sep 6 close $0.18
Thu 6 Sept 2001 News Release
Also Bearcat Explorations Ltd (BEA)
Mr. J.W. McLeod reports
In view of the recent heavy trading of Stampede shares on the Canadian
Venture Exchange, the company is being forced by the exchange to issue the
following Web site advisory as a news release. The company does not,
however, consider the information contained in the advisory to be material
at this stage. It must be emphasized that a pipeline permit, related to the
Stampede Turner Valley 2-34-20-3 W5M well, remains to be issued by the
Energy and Utilities Board (EUB).
The advisory has been mailed has been mailed to all registered
shareholders.
Stampede has received advisement that its operations suspension of July 18
is now terminated and that upon the company receiving approval for a
revised application for a temporary pipeline or for the applied for
permanent pipeline, the resumption of the subject operations could be prior
to the middle of this month. The company is very hopeful that the permit
for the permanent pipeline may be issued next week. It also anticipates
that a new permit for the temporary pipeline could also be issued fairly
soon.
Stampede is confident the EUB's sense of impartiality and fairness to all
will prevail regarding this matter, and that the subject 2-34 oil discovery
well could be on production by the end of this month.

As an Ontario resident I do not get many opportunities to see oil wells (with the exception of Oil Springs) so it was really a treat last week when I was in the Edmonton area to go to Devon and the site of the Leduc#1 oil strike. Great facility, the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and had the time to answer all my questions. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in OIL&Gas,
