They were that Power 4 would be lower volume than Power 3 and that Power 3 was humongous." You know, there are a few things that really annoy me about your tactic for making your point. The first is that you blend your disagreements in with the original drift of a previous conversation. Therefore, it is difficult to understand whether you are simply having problems with a few details, or whether your issue is with the whole post. Basing my assumption on the latter, it took you multiple posts before you actually decided to spit out your intentions. It shouldn't take you that long to communicate what you are trying to argue against. The second is that your attitude sucks. You need to act your age when you discuss something, or else it comes across like you are just trolling for some attention. If you really have something worthy to say, state your disagreement, and avoid the insults. By placing innuendoes and sarcasm throughout your posts, you are not only making them ineffective in proving your point, but you are also encouraging the person you're arguing against to view you as quite juvenile. Third, try to understand that when the conversation isn't going your way, it does not give you the right to be belligerent or insulting. Too many times, you pose a single question out of context, and expect it to be answered. It makes the conversation uni-directional in your favor, which means the conversation ceases to be about the disagreements between two people, but rather the badgering of one single person. If you want to clarify your position, make it straight-forward, and I'd be happy to respond. Keeping me in the dark about your intentions with the hope that I'll say something that makes your point is a poor strategy to use. FWIW, on the issue of Power4 volume, I think you may have a point that IBM can drive it to the same volumes or slightly higher than the Power3, but this will only be over time, and not in the beginning. On the issue of Power3 die size, I might be under the false impression that it is a large die, but you have certainly not given any evidence to the contrary. On these two points, I am willing to stick with them on future responses, but I'll assume that you agree with me on the subject of Itanium, which is why you do not want to pursue that topic. wanna_bmw
